Restoration of Natural Systems Program - 2013 Speakers Series (third of three lectures).

Victoria's Food Forest - instructor David Speed

Food forests can exist in many forms and provide food, fibre, fuel and medicine.  Urban food forests also face challenges such as the long-term maintenance of the trees, potential hazards for cars and cyclists created by fruit and nuts on roads, and land use conflicts for the space required for the trees.  This presentation will discuss the ins and outs of food forests and the ways that food forests are finding a home in Victoria.

Admission is free; however, registration is required by phoning 250-472-4747 to reserve your space (code - ASER900 2013F C03).
